As a Stockman Bevan has a strong connection to horses and rodeo. We love that he brought in one of his riding saddles for his baby boy Wabi to climb on. Soon enough he will be old enough to sit astride a real horse and they can look back on these memories of him learning how to sit in his first saddle.
“We never had professional photos done before, not even wedding photos. With the new addition we wanted to capture our blended family, it was the perfect time, I realized I needed to do this before our kids get too old.
“It was important for me to have something to help remember this time in our lives together.”
Before the photoshoot I was nervous, Home is pretty hectic at times with two teenagers, a preteen and a baby. Wondering if will they all get along? It was also a challenge to get everyone to wear a similar colour palette.
During the photoshoot I was surprised by how much the kids really liked the experience, they behaved so well for the photographer Hannah, thank goodness.
What I enjoyed the most was that they felt important, and they are really happy with the end results, this photoshoot was for them just as much as it was for me.
“When I saw the images, I felt Ecstatic!!! They turned out way better than I expected, and I will do a collage of wall art with them, they look AMAZING!”
My advice for other families: “Do it. It’s so worth it. We will always remember that experience together as a family. Every time we see the artwork in the house, we still laugh about it, seeing the smiles in the photos makes us smile in real life.
