8 Boudoir Photography Ideas to inspire your photoshoot

What kind of looks will you be bringing along to showcase your confidence and beauty?

We want you to be creative! Bringing along different outfits and props is a fun way to showcase different parts of your personality and create your fantasy. With boudoir photography, there are so many possibilities, here are 8 Ideas to get started:

Here are a few ideas for you:

1.Think Variety

Be creative. The more variety you bring the more photo choices you will have. When choosing your lingerie make sure you bring unique pieces which suit your body and personality. From simple bra and panty combo to the corseted stocking extravaganza you can be playful with robes, coats, shoes and other accessories…

2.His and Hers

Bring something that belongs to your partner. If your partner or you are sports fans wear a sports jersey with some knee-high socks. Or go all out and order your favourite team jersey with your name on it. The more you put into it, the more they will be blown away. Maybe you can bring one of his shirts to wear over your lingerie.

3.In the Closet

Look through your closet for a see through or lace blouse, a soft sweater you can pull off your shoulders. Any unique or cropped tops can be cute with knickers or a G-string.  Wearing Gym wear such as leggings, sneakers and crop tops can be a great way to showcase your body in a sporty way.

4.Corsets, Bodysuits and stockings, Oh My!

Corsets or bodysuits are a great way to create curves and enhance cleavage. Little tip: look for corsets with built in cups so the girls stay upright throughout the shoot. Almost every woman brings fishnets and/or thigh highs to her session. Oh, and did I mention suspenders belts can be a sexy little add on to any bra and knicker set!

5.film noir

Inspired by old Hollywood movies with dramatic lighting, vintage glamour and silhouettes.  A Trench coat with sexy high heels can be mysterious and alluring. These images look great in Black and white, to give it that classic timeless look.

6.Kinky

50 shades of grey is a popular theme in boudoir portraits. We even have our own red room! Full of lush velvet drapes sure to please.

For you to explore this dark sensual side of glamour; bring along your whips, ropes, toys and masks. You can choose to play the submissive and let us tie you up or let out your dominatrix and boss us around. Its play time!

7.Nature

Bring the outside inside. Just because we are in a studio doesn’t mean you cant showcase your connection with nature. Bring in your house plants, colourful dirt, and flowers.

8.THE HIGHER THE BETTER

And most of all DON’T forget to bring some dramatic high heels!  Anything strappy, studded, or with bling is a must bring. The higher the better.  You could even wear a pair of leather thigh high boots, or muddy cowgirl boots.

And that’s it. Easy right?

And just remember … You really don’t have to choose, we have time to explore all your different sides from your glamourous, to your sexy, to your artistic and your unique.

Tell your story! Don’t wait until you lose those last few kilos or you think it’s the right time. There is no better time then now.

Remember, you will never be this young!
